Phil Cooke and Arthur 'Spud' Mitchell are acclaimed landscape photographers. Both share a passion for landscape photography and, coming from Scotland with it's breathtaking scenery, they don't have to venture far to capture some of the most stunning views in the world. The quality of the images shows the dedication and commitment by both photographers with their images being sold across the globe.

My approach to photography means that there are many pre-dawn starts and very late nights, so I can capture specific light conditions. For me this only contributes to my interest, as I can immerse myself in scenes untouched by sound or light pollution, whilst awaiting the sun rising for my shot. I very much enjoy the process as much as the resulting photographs. In 2018 I was proud to be a member of the Scotland photography team, which won the World Cup of Photography in South Africa. I am honoured to be included into the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain Hall of Fame and last year I received a Scottish Photographic Federation Gold Medal. In recent years, I have been a finalist several times, for the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year.

I have been an avid Landscape and Seascape photographer for many years.  My passion has always been photography and I enjoy escaping to the outdoors in all weathers to capture some of the most beautiful iconic views in Scotland and beyond.  I am out in all weathers, especially the early hours of the morning, to capture Scotland when the morning light begins to do its magic.  My images have been accepted into various national exhibitions – The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year.  I have success with sales both home and abroad and invite you to browse my work at your leisure.
